Every globe laid in the workshop.
Home / About Us

We work by hand. Forming and finishing the sphere, laying the map gores, mounting the globe on its stand, step by step, with patience. It is exacting, absorbing work, and that is where the difference from a machine-made globe lies.
We are a small workshop making globes by hand. To us a globe is more than a printed ball: the sphere formed, the gores laid and the globe mounted by hand, it reads true, it sits well and, cared for, it lasts. That is what our work is about.
We enjoy a commission and a restoration most of all. Making a globe for a study, or bringing an old globe back, is the best work there is.
